Hi all -

Well that was a week that sped by - I trust you all had a good one.

Quite a few auctions to run through this week, so I will be brief on the chatter for most of them. For those who are new paid subscribers this week, and for whom this is the first of these weekly newsletters that they have read, I would encourage you to take a look at last week’s newsletter to get up to speed on what these are all about.

And to everyone - please, do use the comment section at the bottom of this newsletter to give any feedback. It would be most welcome - especially that of the constructive criticism kind!

OK let’s get those dodgy re-dials out of the way first. Hopefully by now when you see one of these (even if its a reference that hasn’t been covered before), they will stick out like a sore thumb. As usual, click on the subtitle above the photo to see the offending listing.

Be sure to read through all the way through to the end - there are a couple of watches that could easily catch you out if you are not aware of your vintage Grand Seiko production history.

Grand Seiko 5645-7010 blue dial

Blue-dialed 5645/6-7010’s do exist (in fact we have a rather nice one with box and papers that will be listed later today), but not like this they don’t. From one of the usual suspects, and to be avoided.
