How did u go from never seeing one before in 2022 Dec to confident it’s real? What information came up or what changed etc?

Not suggesting any fraud - just surprising to have zero knowledge of a reference ever existing to seeing 2 for sale in less than a year

It’s a good question, but there have been a few other examples like this - the 4522-8000 with the Grand Seiko/Daini logo dial, the silver sunburst 6146-8000, the AD dialed first with the service dial from July 1965, the 18k 6146-8030...

At the end of the day, you have to take each on their merits, and think very critically about them. In this instance, there is just no way that print has been redone. And if the print is legit, whatever is underneath it must be as well.
