I don’t get the apparent undesirability of the diashock dial 57gs. There are 3 chronometer dials but only 1 diashock :) and it lets you complete the original trio as mentioned!
I think it mostly stems from it being the last one. I’m as guilty as anyone of drawing attention to the 43999 SD dial, and also trying to steer people towards the “pure” variants. Doing the research on the 57GS has helped me have a lot more confidence in the originality of transitional pieces such as the one featured this week. It’s actually probably in my top 5 57GS’s that I’ve seen over the last year.
Well I did listen to you on the SD I paid up to have a 43999 SD with brass-showing crown and correct box and then a mint Diashock dial as well to book end the reference :)

A 57 three watch is a great idea. Love the broad shoulder look of any and all
Disgusting VFA’s
IMO the only 6185 8021 worth chasing in any condition is the transitional dial from Gerald’s 3yr old video
Good Lord. That was from 3 years ago? How time flies!
Great summary this week! What would be the correct box for the 18k 564x-8000 bracelet watches by the way?
I wish it was possible to include photos in replies! It’s a tall trapezoidal box. Check out Yahoo listing s1079115606.
