How strict are you when it comes to the coarse knurled crown? This has no signs of degradation at all so despite being coarse knurled it’s likely a replacement part?

Take a closer look at it - much of the plating has worn off. Really it all comes down to how much the watch has been used. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that was the original crown that came with the watch.

While crown wear is definitely a concern, the movement serial info had me thrashing about for a case opener at like 4:00 AM. That’s how much my SD means to me

That 6156-8040 is gorgeous indeed though there's minor staining on the dial at the 17th minute marker I believe.

On top of that the case is soft. Worthless unless you need the accessories for another piece imo
