It might be useful for parts for someone :)

Sure if yours isn’t running. But a 8000 listing with no mention of the wrong crystal is just so egregious to me (lost a bundle on my first VFA). Never bought one from anyone but TGSG ever since

I don’t think this one even has a crystal. 🤣Honestly I am not sure why people place so much perceived value on the original one. The true test of what the original crystal is worth would be if a NOS example were to come up for sale. I can’t see this happening, but if it ever did, I don’t believe for one minute that anyone would pay over $1000 for it. Maybe I’ll take an original one out of one of my VFA’s and replace it with a reproduction sapphire one and put it up for auction here...

😂upon review, you are correct😂

If you do, I know someone who’d pay a grand for your original. By now most of have been gifted sapphire crystals from Gerald. But as with classic anything, they’re only original once.

Oh, I now see I’m replying to Gerald. Dude, you’ve had so many VFAs pass through your hands, I think you’re getting jaded. I’ve been fighting my way up your VFA rarity rankings for a year trying to make tier one before I kick

Also, that exact same 43999 SD dial had been featured in your newsletter from two weeks ago I believe. Seems like it got relisted for some reason.

Not sure if the crystal is missing too

Thankfully there’s not much rough stuff in VFA land. The main exception is the crystals on the day/dates. First thing any Japanese collector / dealer will do is tip the watch to see if the hardlex blacks out, the originals are irreplaceable

Well won the 191500 56gs box with outer box and was underbidder on the 61gs one that went for 30500... prob for the best that seems high v the rest haha . Just bid 20 and 30k respectively

That 61GS case is likely a service case due to the case back serial suggesting 1974 production date? That's very late for a 6145/6.

I was actually considering the Franken 6146-8050. Seems like correct bracelet? Not too sure case and case back have any issues.
